Tortoises

Tortoises are actually turtles that live entirely on land. While some tortoises enjoy going into the water to cool off, or even for a swim, other tortoises can
easily drown if the water is over their head. Because they live only on land, their legs are sturdy, like elephant's legs.

Most tortoises live where it is hot and dry. They get most of the water they need from the plants they eat. God made their bodies so that they can recycle their water when there is a drought and there is no fresh water, and all of the plants have dried out. God is so good!
