Aquatic Turtles

Aquatic Turtles (or water turtles) spend most of their time in and around water - lakes, ponds and streams. Many aquatic turtles have webbed feet like ducks, and are very fast swimmers. Other aquatic turtles simply crawl along the bottom of ponds looking for food. Most aquatic turtles like to come out of the water to bask in the sun and get warm, like those in the picture.
